The beautiful Island of Corfu

Corfu is one of the most beautiful islands in Greece offering an abundance of nature and greenery. The whole island provides a variety of beaches to suit every preference from long sandy beaches to clear water stony beaches. The north of the Island features wonderful panoramic views, and one of the best sunset views. The lovely harbour village of Kassiopi can be found on the north-east side overlooking Albania. The famous Canal d’Amour in Sidari is a great place to have a swim. And the picturesque resort of Paleokastritsa on the west coast is only 15 kilometres from Villa Sunrise. The south of Corfu is famous for its beaches such as Isso and Halikounas and many others. Central to Corfu Island is the town and the Old Town where you can stroll around the small cobbled streets to do your souvenir shopping. The Liston which overlooks the Cricket playing area is known for its many cafes and restaurants. Enjoy walking around some of the lovely park areas with some featuring the culture of Corfu. Just on the outskirts of the town is the beautiful park of Mon Repos, filled with tall old trees and paths to follow, to soak up the incredible energy you feel here.
